Essential guide to all things cycling in Girona from the experts with 20 years Girona experience.
“Bike Breaks (aka Girona Cycling Centre) is tucked away in the old town one road behind the Rambla, owned and run by British downhill ex-pro Dave Walsh and his wife Saskia. While the shop is mainly a rentals business, they offer servicing, guiding, transfer services, GPS/Garmin rentals, and help with hotel bookings in town, should you need it. It’s also one of the best places in town if you’re looking to buy a bit of cycling memorabilia. “

“The Gran Fondo is the culmination of a week-long cycling celebration, which also includes a 10km hill climb and a Nocturne crit race around the old town on Thursday.
For those who can’t face the full 142km Gran Fondo there’s a shorter 125km route available, but why would you come all this way and not do the ascent of Rocacorba?”
